Water damage repair in Exton
A stain or soft spot can hide a larger problem behind the wall. We look for moisture history, staining patterns, board softness, and surrounding damage before deciding how much drywall should be removed.
For Chester County basements and Main Line homes with older plaster or mixed materials, the repair may involve more than replacing a square patch. The new board, seams, texture, and primer plan all need to match the existing room.
We do not cover up active leaks. Once the water source is corrected and the area is dry, we can restore the drywall cleanly and leave a paint-ready surface.
Serving Exton: Our home base is Exton — 423 Wharton Blvd — so if you're in the area you're getting a truly local crew. We work throughout Lionville, Marchwood, Whitford, and Uwchlan neighborhoods as well as new developments along Boot Road and near Exton Square. Scheduling is fast, estimates happen quickly, and we know the local general contractors and builders who move work through the area.
Service scope
Ceiling and wall sections damaged by roof leaks cut back, replaced, taped, finished, and blended once the leak is resolved.
Wet drywall from pipe failures removed cleanly with replacement board installed after plumbing repairs and drying.
Drywall behind fixtures, supply lines, shower areas, and appliances repaired after the source is corrected.
Damaged lower-level drywall replaced with material recommendations suited to the room and moisture history.
Stained or sagging ceiling drywall replaced, finished, and prepared for stain-blocking primer and paint.
If mold remediation or plumbing work is needed, we coordinate the drywall removal and restoration side of the project.

Full room drywall installation
Process
We verify the leak or moisture source has been corrected before closing the wall or ceiling.
Soft, stained, swollen, or mold-suspect drywall is cut out cleanly so the repair starts from sound material.
New board is installed, taped, coated, sanded, and feathered into the existing surface.
The repair is cleaned and ready for primer, with stain-blocking recommendations where water marks were present.
